Ongoing research
I work on comparative politics and political behaviour questions, with a focus on the politics of immigration. More specifically, my newest and ongoing line of work is on the impact of immigration policy on migrant integration outcomes. Secondly, I also analyse how economic patterns of competition affect public attitudes towards immigration, especially with regards to different labour market and welfare state configurations. Finally, I also look at more classical political behaviour questions, especially how political economic environments and institutions affect attitudes and behaviour.
